At The Lampstand, volunteers play an important role in preventing human trafficking and supporting survivors in their healing. Whether you enjoy working with youth, cooking, creating, or serving behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.
Female volunteers can help provide a warm, home-cooked meal for participants during the weekend. Volunteers can either prepare and serve a meal at the Safehome or cook a meal at home and drop it off for the girls to enjoy.
Male and Female volunteers can join our Prevention Education team as we teach students in local schools about human trafficking, healthy relationships, online safety, and how to recognize and respond to exploitation. Volunteers assist with classroom presentations and help create an engaging learning environment for students.
Female volunteers spend meaningful time with participants in our Safehome by building positive relationships and encouraging personal growth. Volunteers may lead crafts, games, life skills activities, devotionals, or simply provide a caring, supportive presence while interacting with the girls.
Female volunteers can use your hairstyling skills to help participants feel confident and cared for. Volunteers assist with services such as braiding, hair care, and coloring in our Safehome salon.
Male and female volunteers can support our annual Night of Hope Gala by helping with event preparation, collecting donations, running errands, assisting with setup, or serving in other event-day roles. Your help allows this special evening to run smoothly while raising critical support for The Lampstand’s mission.
No matter which opportunity you choose, your time and compassion make a difference. Every volunteer helps create hope, safety, and healing for those impacted by human trafficking.
